This piece embodies the idea of being grounded and connecting to nature. Historically women have been closely associated with nature, a connection often used to define or romanticise women. In my work and in spring time, I present the body honestly as a massy weighty vessel, where the soul begins to transcend this through specific grounding techniques such as strolling through the forest or collapsing into a field of green.
